After much consideration and countless conversations, we have made the difficult decision not to have Day Camp Sessions at Rocky River Ranch this summer. While this is a heartbreaking and devastating decision for us, we feel it is the best choice under the current circumstances.
Please know that we did not come to this decision easily as we truly love our day campers. They are so precious to us and we LOVE having them at camp. The governor gave us the green light to open camp for this summer and since then we have been poring over the new guidelines and regulations and learning how they apply to us at RRR. While we currently plan on having five one-week sessions of overnight camp, the new protocols make it nearly impossible to run day camp sessions concurrently. We must adhere to reduced capacity and also limit the number of people coming on and off the campsite daily. We also must implement new safety measures that we feel will be very difficult for young children to understand and follow. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see your Day Camper at Rocky River in 2021!

I can't believe this will be my second summer away from Rocky River. I'm so campsick. I find myself singing RRR songs all the time, and i wish I could be there now! Camp has meant so much to me. Thanks for such a wonderful experience.
This was my very first camp I ever went to and let me tell you it was the best! I only wish I had found out about it earlier so I could have spent more than just one year there. Y'all are an amazing camp and I hope you keep running for another 50 years.
I’ve told my family that if I’m ever missing, can’t take the real world, think I need to drive away, they will find me at Rocky River Ranch. I’m now 41 years old, a mother of two and every time I turn down Flite Acres Road it is like going home and it makes me cry because I am so happy to be there. I had seven glorious summers at camp and I cherish every memory I carry with me.
I have said for years that RRR made me the person that I am today. Actually it wasn’t just RRR, but also the counselors that shaped my experiences and helped me be the best I could be. I learned to problem solve, lead others and to be a leader others wanted to follow. I learned to do my part and that I can do anything I decided to do. I learned to say 'I can' a lot more than 'I cannot.' I learned to co-exist with others which helps me to this day. As a young girl I learned what others around me now in their 30s still do not know. I learned to take care of and respect myself, respect others and the world around me.
My years at Rocky River were some of the most wonderful times in my life. My sister (Laura) and I still spend hours talking about our fun times there. We still remember our days of swimming in the river, riding horses and water skiing. I can't wait until my little girl can experience all the joy and fun I had as a child for herself.
Wow! I just spent ten amazing weeks at Rocky River. It was a great learning experience. My first job also! I had a wonderful time working with the counselors and the kids. I already miss it! I miss singing camp songs too!
